B1F12 – 11: Ambient Roof Lights – Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B1F12 - 11 Customer Symptom N/A. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Roof Lamp LEDs lamps does not come ON. Lamp Status (If Any) Ambient Roof Lights permanently off till the fault persist. Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Ambient Roof Lights output is shorted to ground. Normal Operating Condition Ambient Roof Lights should turn ON whenever door is open. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector wired wrong 2. Ambient Roof Lights harness wire shorted to ground. 3. Ambient Roof Lights Node/components damaged. Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: User turns ON Ambient Roof Lights, while door is open. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
