B1F06 – 11: Ignition Keyhole Illumination Signal – Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B1F06 - 11 Customer Symptom Ignition keyhole illumination always off/low. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Ignition keyhole illumination always off/low Lamp Status (If Any) Ignition keyhole illumination permanently off till the fault persist. Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Ignition keyhole illumination Light output is shorted to ground. Normal Operating Condition Ignition keyhole illumination should turn ON whenever position lamp switch input is activated. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector wired wrong 2. Ignition keyhole illumination Light harness wire shorted to ground. Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: User turns ON Interior lamp (Roof lamp at ON position, boot lamp, spot lamp). Ignition keyhole illumination Signal is active high. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
