Interior Lamps DTCs B1F04 – 11: Front Courtesy Light – Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B1F04 - 11 Customer Symptom Interior lamp (Roof lamp at ON position, boot lamp, spot lamp) permanently off. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Interior lamp (Roof lamp at ON position, boot lamp, spot lamp) permanently off. Lamp Status (If Any) Interior lamp (Roof lamp at ON position, boot lamp, spot lamp) permanently off till the fault persist. Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Front Courtesy Light output is shorted to ground. Normal Operating Condition Interior lamp should turn ON whenever position lamp switch input is activated. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector wired wrong 2. Front Courtesy Light harness wire shorted to ground. 3. Lamp damaged. Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: User turns ON Interior lamp (Roof lamp at ON position, boot lamp, spot lamp). Interior Lamp Deactivation Signal is active high. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
