B161F – 23: Mechanical Key Set Signal - signal stuck low Overview: ISO Code B161F - 23 Customer Symptom 1. Lock operation through mechanical key does not work. 2. Auto Relock function, if enabled, does not work. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Lock operation through mechanical key does not work. 2. Auto Relock function, if enabled, does not work. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine execution. User has to operate the switch manually during routine. If signal stuck low fault is detected for Mechanical Key Set switch, then this DTC code will be returned with the Routine results. Normal Operating Condition There should not be any fault returned by routine. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Mechanical Key Set switch is damaged or stuck or faulty or pressed too long (till switch stuck time Par_SwStuckTime"). 3. Mechanical Key Set switch wire short to ground. 4. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: BCM connectors, Mechanical Key Set switch harness, Mechanical Key Set switch. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
