B161A - 23: Internal Unlock Switch - signal stuck low Overview: ISO Code B161A - 23 Customer Symptom 1. Internal Unlock switch does not operate. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Unlock operation does not work with Internal Unlock switch after stuck detection. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine execution. User has to operate the switch manually during routine. If signal stuck low fault is detected for Internal Unlock Switch, then this DTC code will be returned with the Routine results. Normal Operating Condition There should not be any fault returned by routine. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Internal Unlock switch is damaged or stuck or faulty or pressed too long (till switch stuck time Par_SwStuckTime"). 3. Internal Unlock harness wire shorted. 4. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: BCM connectors, Internal Unlock switch harness, Internal Unlock switch. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
