B1618 - 11: Infotainment Removal Signal - Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code B1618 - 11 Customer Symptom No immediate symptom. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Infotainment theft detection possible. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged user could able to get infotainment theft detection alarm. If short to ground fault is detected for Infotainment Removal Signal, then this DTC code will be returned. Normal Operating Condition Infotainment theft detection is not possible. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Infotainment connector Short to ground. 3. HU connector Fault. 4. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON. 2. Clear DTC Command. Component Details: BCM connector, HU connector. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
