B160E - 62: Mechanical Key Set/Reset Signal - Signal Compare Failure Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B160E - 62 Customer Symptom Unknown. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Unknown. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition Mechanical key is inserted to lock and unlock the vehicle. Mechanical Key Set/Reset Signal is not updated. Normal Operating Condition Driver door actuator should get lock with lock operation and Driver door actuator should get unlock with unlock operation as per mechanical key action. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Harness wires shorted. 3. BCM ECU fault. Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON. 2. Clear DTC Command. Component Details: BCM connector. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
