B160B– 12: Door Unlock Control Driver Relay/Tailgate Unlock Control Relay– circuit short to battery Overview: ISO Code B160B– 12 Customer Symptom No locking action happened on operating the vehicle lock. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) All doors/Tailgate gets unlocked and will not lock Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Door unlock control relay/Tailgate unlock control relay is short to battery. Normal Operating Condition Vehicle shall get locked and unlocked properly. Probable Trouble Area 1. All door unlock relay/Tailgate is short to battery. 2. Open circuit between BCM and All door unlock/ Tailgate Unlock 3. BCM connector wired wrong. 4. BCM mating connector is faulty. 5. Harness wire shorted 6. Relay damaged/Faulty. Healing Condition 1.Ignition OFF  ON 2.Clear DTC Command Component Details: Door Relay, BCM connector Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
