B1609 - 14: Door Lock Relay - Circuit Short to Ground or Open Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B1609 - 14 Customer Symptom No Unlocking action happened on operating the vehicle unlock. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Driver's door locks and will not unlock Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Door Lock Relay output is short to ground. Normal Operating Condition Vehicle shall get locked and unlocked properly. Probable Trouble Area 1. All door Lock relay output is short to ground. 2. Open circuit between BCM & All door lock relay. 3. BCM mating connector is faulty. 4. All door lock relay is faulty. 5. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Door Relay, BCM connector Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:
