B1602 - 11: Cabin Global Closing Signal - Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B1602 - 11 Customer Symptom 1. Cabin Global switch is not working. 2. All locks and windows do not operate when global closing attempted. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. All locks and windows do not operate when global closing attempted. Lamp Status (If Any) NA. Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after user had operated the Cabin Global switch manually during routine. If short to ground fault is detected for Cabin Global closing signal, then this DTC code will be returned. Normal Operating Condition All locks and windows operate when global closing attempted. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault. 2. Harness wire shorted. 3. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Cabin Global switch, BCM connector Functionality: If the Cabin Global closing signal is short to Ground, then All locks and windows do not operate when global closing attempted. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
