START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification. Is DTC B2239-12 logged by Routine? Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and Rear fog switch connectors for terminal backout Are connectors loose? 1.Remove BCM Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged etc. Is connector faulty? 1.Put Rear fog switch in OFF state. 2.Check continuity between BCMconnector pin [C1- 50]( Harness side) with battery [C3-2/C3-1] Continuity Found? STOP YES NO YES NO Reconnect connectors firmly Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) YES NO Correct BCM Sidewiring harness (Short to Battery) NO YES B2239 -12: Rear Fog Lamp Control Switch – Short to Battery A B
