B2254 – 12: Turn Right Indicator Switch Circuit – circuit short to battery Overview: ISO Code B2254 - 12 Customer Symptom 1. Turn right indication always OFF Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Turn right indication always OFF Lamp Status (If Any) Always OFF Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine execution. User has to operate the switch manually during routine. If short to battery fault is detected for turn right indicator switch then this DTC code will be returned with the Routine results. Normal Operating Condition There should not be any fault returned by routine Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Turn right indicator switch input short to ground from cockpit wiring harness 3. Turn indicator switch damaged or stuck 4. Combi switch connector fault. 5. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Turn right indicator switch is part of combi switch. If the IGN is ON and turn right indication is given by user then turn right indicator lamps will flash with predefined frequency. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
