B220A – 23: Front Fog Lamp Control Switch – Signal Stuck Low Overview: ISO Code B220A - 23 Customer Symptom 1. Front fog lamp does not operate. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Front Fog lamp will not come ON 2. Facia Switch illumination for fog lamp will not turn ON Lamp Status (If Any) Always OFF Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM; if signal stuck low condition is detected for front fog lamp switch. Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is ON and headlamps / position lamps are ON then front fog lamps shall turn ON immediately after pressing the front fog lamp switch. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Front fog lamp switch input wire Short to ground from cockpit wiring harness 3. Switch damaged or stuck 4. Facia Switch connector fault. 5. BCM ECU fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Front fog lamp switch is part of facia switch bank. If the IGN is ON and headlamps / position lamps are ON and user presses the front fog lamp switch, front fog lamps will turn ON. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
