Check Continuty Between BCM side connector pin [C1-39] with Vehicle Ground [C1-34/ C1-47] Continuity Found? Correct Wiring harness (Short To Ground) YES NO Check Continuity Between BCM side connector pin [C1-39] with Reverse Gear switch contact Continuity Found? Correct Wiring harness (Open Circuit) YES NO 1. Remove Gear selection switch mating connector. 2. check continuity of reverse gear switch contact with battery Continuity Found? Correct Reverse gear side wiring harness[ location TBD] (Open Circuit) 1. Reconnect Gear selection switch mating connector. 2. Engage reverse gear 3. Check continuity between reverse gear contact at BCM side with battery YES NO Continuity Found? YES NO 1. Gear selection switch faulty. 2. Replace Reverse Gear selection switch BCM ECU Faulty Replace BCM ECU A B B2503 -11: Reverse Gear Selection Switch - circuit short to ground/ open circuit
