B225B – 09: Master Light Switch Failure – Component Failures Overview: ISO Code B225B – 09 Customer Symptom Some or all Master light switch operations may fail Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Some or all Master light switch operations may fail Lamp Status (If Any) - Fault Detection Condition BCM log this fault when Master light switch fail. (May be stuck/short to ground/short to Battery) Normal Operating Condition If switch is moved to position lamp position, Position lamp shall come ON. If switch is moved to headlamp On position, Headlamp shall come On. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Switch damaged 3. BCM ECU faulty Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Master light Switch is located near steering on the dashboard of the vehicle. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
