B2261 – 11: Right Daylight Running Lamp – Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code B2261 - 11 Customer Symptom Right DRL Lamp always OFF. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Right DRL Lamp always OFF. Lamp Status (If Any) Always OFF Fault Detection Condition BCM log this fault when Right DRL lamp output is short to ground. Normal Operating Condition Right DRL lamp comes ON when Ignition is ON and Position lamp switch is de-activated. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Right DRL lamp output wire Short to ground 3. Lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. Right DRL lamp mating connector fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Right DRL lamps are located at left front side of the vehicle. DRL lamps come ON when Ignition is ON and Position lamp switch is de-activated. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage
