B2260 – 15: Left Daylight Running Lamp – Short to Battery or Open Circuit Overview: ISO Code B2260 – 15 Customer Symptom Left DRL Lamp always ON. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Left DRL Lamp always ON. 2. Battery Drain. Lamp Status (If Any) Always ON Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Left DRL lamp output is shorted to battery or open circuit Normal Operating Condition Left DRL lamp comes ON when Ignition is ON and Position lamp switch is de-activated. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Left DRL lamp output wire Short to battery or open circuit 3. Left DRL Lamp bulb blown /lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. Left DRL lamp mating connector fault Healing Condition 3. Ignition OFF  ON 4. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Left DRL lamps are located at left front side of the vehicle. DRL lamps come ON when Ignition is ON and Position lamp switch is de-activated. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
