B224A – 15: Right stop Lamp Circuit – Short to Battery or Open Circuit Overview: ISO Code B224A – 15 Customer Symptom Right Stop Lamps always ON. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Right Stop Lamp always ON. 2. Battery Drain Lamp Status (If Any) Always ON Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Right Stop lamp output is shorted to battery or open circuit Normal Operating Condition Stop Lamp / Brake Lamp come ON when brake is pressed. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Right Stop lamp output wire Short to battery or open circuit 3. Right Stop Lamp bulb blown /lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. Right Stop lamp mating connector fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Right Stop lamps are located at right rear side of vehicle. Stop Lamp / Brake Lamp come ON when brake is pressed. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
