B224A – 11: Right Stop Lamp Circuit – Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code B224A - 11 Customer Symptom 1. Right stop Lamps always OFF. 2. Brake lamp malfunction message on Instrument Cluster Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Right Stop Lamps always OFF. Lamp Status (If Any) Always OFF Fault Detection Condition BCM log this fault when Right Stop lamp output is short to ground. Normal Operating Condition Brake comes ON when brake is pressed. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Right Stop lamp output wire Short to ground 3. Lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. Right Stop lamp mating connector fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Right Stop lamps are located at right rear side of vehicle. Brake comes ON when brake is pressed. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
