B221F – 11: Left Front Fog Lamp – Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code B221F - 11 Customer Symptom 1. Left Front Fog Lamps always OFF. 2. Facia Switch illumination for front fog lamp always OFF Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. Left Front Fog Lamps always OFF. 2. Facia Switch illumination for left fog lamp always OFF Lamp Status (If Any) Always OFF Fault Detection Condition BCM log this fault when left front fog lamp output is short to ground. Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is ON and headlamps / position lamps are ON then front fog lamps shall turn ON immediately after pressing the front fog lamp switch. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Left front fog lamp output wire Short to ground 3. Lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. Left front fog lamp mating connector fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Left front fog lamps are located at left front side of vehicle. If the IGN is ON and headlamps / position lamps are ON and user presses the front fog lamp switch then front fog lamps will turn ON. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
