B2224 – 11: Left Position Lamps – Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code B2224- 11 Customer Symptom 3. Left Position Lamps always OFF. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 2. Left Position Lamps always OFF. Lamp Status (If Any) Always OFF Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when Left Position Lamps output is short to ground Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is KeyIN or Keyout/Accessory/On and Main beam / Dipped beam are ON or Position lamp switch signal is active, Position lamp will turn ON. . Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Left wiring harness (Left Position Lamps output wire) short to ground 3. Lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. Left Position Lamps mating connector fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Position lamps are on the corner of the car (front/rear and left/right) . If the IGN is KeyIN or Keyout/Accessory/On and Main beam / Dipped beam are ON or Position lamp switch signal is active, Position lamp will turn ON. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
