B2204 – 15: Combined High Beam – Short to Battery or Open Circuit Overview: ISO Code B2204 - 15 Customer Symptom 2. Combined High Beam always ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Combined High Beam always ON Lamp Status (If Any) Always ON Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged by BCM when High Beam output is shorted to battery or open circuit Normal Operating Condition If the IGN is ON or Accessory is ON and headlamps are active then High Beam shall turn ON immediately after pressing the High Beam switch. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Front wiring harness circuit short to bat 3. High Beam bulb blown /lamp damaged 4. BCM ECU fault 5. High Beam mating connector fault Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: High Beam are located at headlamp of vehicle If the IGN is ON or Accessory is ON and headlamps is active then High Beam shall turn ON immediately after pressing the High Beam switch. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9 to 16 V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:-
