Trouble Shooting:- Start Connect the diagnost ic tool Read DTCs and check whether it s permanent or in history Follow the procedure to diagnose relevant functional DTCs in the PEPS ECU. NO YES Is DTC Permanent? Clear DTC Stop (DTC in history) U1612– 62 – Head Unit Pairing Detection - signal compare failure Check HU ECU Faulty Replace HU ECU Disconnect vehicle battery connect ion. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and HU connectors for CAN terminal back out Are connectors loose? Reconnect connectors firmly YES NO Is CAN Error present?
