NO YES Is DTC Permanent? Clear DTC Stop (DTC in history) U1612– 56 – Head Unit Pairing Detection - Invalid / incompatible configuration Check HU ECU Faulty Replace HU ECU Disconnect vehicle battery connect ion. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and HU connectors for CAN terminal back out Are connectors loose? Reconnect connectors firmly YES NO Is CAN Error present?
