P0606-11: Control Module Processor – Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code P0606-4 Customer Symptom Vehicle will not start Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle will not start Lamp Status (If Any) MIL ON after 3 driving cycle Fault Detection Condition Detection of too high supply voltage at IC Normal Operating Condition ECU Functions as per design intention Probable Trouble Area EMS ECU internal error. Replace ECU. Healing Condition After 3 drive cycles Fault permanent deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4. ECU Flashing. 5. ECU Power-Fail Component Details: EMS ECU is an electronic controller which controls the Engine functionality by interfacing with various sensors, actuators and other controllers (via CAN) Preliminary Checks: 1. Check whether the EMS is receiving Battery supply and Ground 2. EMS ECU internal error. Replace ECU. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check whether the EMS ECU is receiving supply and Ground Go to step 2 Rectify wiring harness connections as per schematic 2. EMS ECU internal error. Replace ECU. DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. Replace EMS ECU and check whether the fault is rectified or not.
