U0121-31: Loss of communication with Antilock Braking System-Message Timeout Failure Overview: ISO Code U0121-31 Customer Symptom ABS Drag Torque control functionality will not work. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) ABS Drag Torque control functionality will not work Lamp Status (If Any) None. Fault Detection Condition 1. ABS/ ESP Control Module connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location. 2. CAN Stub wire from ABS/ ESP Control Module connector side is disconnected. 3. ABS/ ESP Control Module is not powered up. Normal Operating Condition ABS/ ESP Control Module communicate properly with TML diagnostic Tool. Probable Trouble Area Disconnection of the ABS/ ESP connector Healing Condition To fix the ABS/ ESP Control Module correctly and Fix the wiring harness issues from ABS/ ESP Control Module side.
