AIR CONDITIONING 8 Sr.No. PROBLEM / SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE CAUSED REMEDY 16 Compressor Noisy but working OR Compressor noisy but not working OR Compressor pulley wobbling & no refrigerant in circuit Bearing of compressor damaged 1. Discharge the system. 2. Change the Compressor 3. Evacuate the system 4. Charge refrigerant gas & oil qty. 5. Check performance by ODT/ CDT. 17 NO cooling effect 1. Check Refrigerant 2. Electric parts mal functioning OR Loose 1. Discharge the system. 2. Evacuate the system 3. Charge refrigerant gas & oil qty. 4. Check performance by ODT/ CDT. Check the parts, rectify 18 Water traces found on carpet Check AC drain Grommet for MUD clogging Check AC drain pipe for breakage Clean 1. Discharge the system. 2. Remove Cockpit & HVAC. 3. Change Drain housing 4. Assemble HVAC & Cockpit. 5. Evacuate the system 6. Charge refrigerant gas & oil qty. 7. Check performance by ODT/ CDT. 19 AC not working in Engine Idle condition Check FICD of Engine Check Engine Idle RPM with AC ON Rectify Rectify & set RPM at proper value 20 Blower is noisy or vibrating Check Blower motor for any entrapped things Remove motor, clean & refit 21 Hissing noise heard when AC is made ON Low refrigerant in circuit 1. Discharge the system. 2. Evacuate the system 3. Charge refrigerant gas & oil qty. 4. Check performance by ODT/ CDT.
