BODY 53 ASSEMBLY 1. Fix the door side upper and lower hinges to the car. 2. a) Fix the door to the vehicle after tightening the two mounting bolts and connect the electrical connections. b) Check if the door closed properly and sit's exactly in its locations and then tighten the door side hinges. 3. Fix the outer Handle bracket from inside and tighten its fasteners. 4. Exactly seat the door handle over its bracket and push it so that it seats over the unlock linkage mechanism inside. 5. Fix the door lock unit after tightening its screws from the other end. 6. Fix the door latch using the three screws and connect its two linkages to the door handle and lock unit. 7. Tighten the bell crank lever and fix the linkage of latch to it. 8. Place the window regulator in the door and tighten it. 9. Place the rear door glass mould over the glass guide channel. 10. Position and fix movement of glass and in case if not so remove the glass and refix the front door glass mould. 11. Position the glass divisional channel and tighten its bolts, after fixing the quarter glass. 12. Fix the door rub rail and tighten its screws. 13. Connect the wiring harness snaps and fix the latch and window actuator connections. 14. Fix the three screws of door pull inner to the door trim. 15. Fix the door trim assembly to the door and tighten its screw to the bottom. 16. Press fit the door pull outer. 17. Fix the linkages to the door release lever and fix it over door trim, tighten its screws. 18. Connect the window winding switch connector and fix it over the door pull outer. 9.12 PAINT AND COATINGS 9.12.1 F. PAINT CARE CAUSE FOR CONCERN: Tata New BOLT / ZEST is painted using contemporary and state of the art technology to safeguard the body shell from corrosion. However certain precautions need to be taken to ensure better care of paint finish and long term corrosion protection of BOLT / ZEST. The common causes of corrosion of car are:  Accumulation of dirt and moisture in hard to reach areas under the vehicle.  Paint or underbody chip off due to minor accidents or due to the impact of stones or gravel against the painted surface.  Certain environmental conditions or particular locations where the vehicle is driven may accelerate the rate of corrosion. Hence special care needs to be taken to repair any damage to the paint or protective coating, as soon as possible, in such areas. Please be very careful in case of the following situations.  If the car is driven in areas having hot and sultry weather.  The roads have a presence of substances which will accelerate the rate of corrosion such as road salt, industrial fallout, and saline atmosphere near coastal areas.  The car is subjected to dampness on certain parts of the body for a long duration of time.
