DRIVETRAIN-TA65 Star 42 12. Unstake and unlock the locknut on Input shaft. 13. Removelock plate (5th speed gear). 14. Remove engaging gear (5th speed) along with sleeve and fork taking care that carrier assembly does not slip off. 15. Remove the fifth gear from the lay shaft. 16. Remove needle bearing 17. Remove the bush. 18. Remove spacer (lay shaft). 19. Remove the conical washer and 5th gear (input shaft). 20. Remove lock plate (lay shaft bearing) from housing rear half by unscrewing T40 torx head screws 21. (Use new torx head screws during reassembly).
