DRIVETRAIN C549 35 G. LAYSHAFT – ASSEMBLY 1. Fit the lay shaft new front bearing inner race using tool 287458902616 (Fitting tool). 2. Fit the needle bearing (1) for the 1st speed drive gear 3. Fit the 1st speed driven gear (2). 4. Fit the three 1st speed synchronizer rings (3a) matching the engagements (3b). 5. Fit the hub for the 1st and 2nd speed sliding sleeve using (1b) 287458902609 (Fitting Tool). 6. Fit a new 1st and 2nd speed sliding sleeve hub circlip. 7. Fit the 1st-2nd and reverse engagement sliding sleeve (1). 8. Refit the pre-synchronizer mountings (2) in their housings in the 1st-2nd and reverse sliding sleeve hub. 9. Remove the needle bearing (3) for the 2nd speed drive gear. 10.Fit the three 2nd speed synchronizer rings (4a) matching the engagements (4b) and (4c). 11.Fit the 2nd speed driven gear (5). 12.Fit the 3rd speed driven gear (1a) using the tool(1b) 287458902610 (Fitting Tool)
