ENGINE 1.3L QUADRAJET (90PS) 42 B. CAMSHAFT HOUSING INSPECTION AND MEASUREMENT 1. Check that the diameter of the valve stems corresponds to the recommended figures; if not, replace the worn valves. Check that the diameter of the camshaft bearings corresponds to the recommended figures; if not, replace the worn camshaft. Camshaft bearing diameter - 38.500 ~ 38.515 First bearing (mm) Camshaft bearing diameter - 38.000 ~ 38.015 Second bearing (mm) Camshaft bearing diameter - 30.000 ~ 30.015 Third bearing (mm) 5. Check that the nominal camshaft cam l ift corresponds to the recommended figures; if not, replace the worn camshaft. Nominal inlet cam lift (mm) 6.4 Nominal exhaust cam lift (mm) 7.5 6. Check that the diameter of the camshaft supports corresponds to the recommended figures; if not, replace the cylinder head. Grind the valve seats to the recommended size. Valve seat band angle in 45º +/- 20´ contact with valve 8. Grind the valve seats using suitable tool.
