Revotron 1.2T 145 Connector View : Component Specification : TMAP Sensor is used to measure the temperature & pressure of the Intake Air at Intake Manifold (Before Turbo). The piezo- resistive pressure sensor element and a suitable circuitry for signal amplification are integrated on a silicon chip. The measured pressure operates from above to the active side of the silicon diaphragm. Temperature sensor is a NTC Element. The manifold air pressure sensor is mounted on intake manifold plenum and the bolt tightened at specified torque. The T-MAP sensor is a four pin peizo-resistance semiconductor device with a negative temperature coefficient. The T-MAP sensor provides intake air pressure and temperature details to ECU, which then calculates the correct quantity of fuel to be injected to each cylinder. A DC signal voltage is produced by the sensor, which gets excited due to varying manifold air pressure which is felt on semiconductor diaphragm Sensor Stand alone Diagnosis : Use multimeter to check for signal voltage at pin1 and pin3. Supply voltage :- 5V DC. Signal Voltage : 0.4 V at 10 kpa (absolute) 4.65 V at 115 kpa (absolute) Connector details : 1. M2A2 : Ground 2. M1A2 : Temperature signal 3. M2E1 : Supply 5V 4. M2C1 : Pressure signal Use TATA diagnostic tool to check for 'Intake manifold pressure and Air temperature' values. 1. Give 5V Power Supply to the Sensor Supply pin and Ground to the Sensor Ground Pin 2. Keep the sensor in a pressurized environment of 50 bar. 3. Measure the Voltage between the Sensor pressure Signal Pin and Ground, it should be 2.1 Volts approx. 4. Check the resistance between the Sensor Temperature signal pin and EMS ECU, at Room temperature of 30 5. Degrees, it should be ~1080 Ohms.
