CLUTCH 24 5. Screw in clutch mounting screws M8x12 – 10.9 along with B8 spring washer for SAC mounting. 6. Aligning mandrel in position, tighten only two rounds of each screw at a time as per sequence shown & repeat the sequence till full tightening. 7. Tighten these screws in the same sequence to 3.2 kgm. 8. Ensure that there is no gap between SAC cover & flywheel at 6 mounting locations. NOTE • Do not mix clutch mounting bolts with other fasteners. Do not use longer or shorter screws. Longer screws may not tighten the clutch at all. Shorter screws will not provide enough threads to achieve desired tightening. • While tightening clutch mounting screws check aligning mandrel for continuous free sliding to ensure concentric installation of clutch disc which will avoid trouble during installation of gearbox.
