ENGINE 97 29.Assemble the dip stick and tighten bolts (1 and 2) 30.Assemble the EGR outlet pipe. 31.Assemble the outlet and inlet hoses of EGR cool- er assembly 32.Install the solenoid valve and connect the vacuum hoses between solenoid valve and EGR cooler assembly. NOTE Replace the vacuum hose with a new one whenever it is removed. 33.Locate the EGR pipe at both the ends and hand tighten the bolts/ nuts. Then tighten it at both the ends to the specified torque 34.Assemble the turbocharger assembly (For proce- dure refer exhaust system section)
