SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) 20 SIDE AIRBAG (SAB) Side-impact airbags are located in the seats and inflate between the seat occupant and the door. These airbags are designed to reduce the risk of injury to the occupant. REMOVAL NOTE Side AIRBAG cannot be removed, as the Seat Trim is not serviceable. Hence Seat has to be replaced completely. 1. Disconnect the electrical connector. 2. Unmount the Seat from the vehicle. 3. Assemble the new Seat into the vehicle. Front Seat (Co-Driver) Belt buckle Front Seat (Driver) ON VEHICLE SERVICE REMOVAL / ASSEMBLY The front seat buckle are bolted on Seat architecture inboard side. The tongue must always be latched in the buckle while driving. The wire harness on buckle must be fixed at 3 positions as shown in the images alongside namely 1 ,2 and 3. The SAB connector must be clipped at positon 4 as shown in image. FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal. NOTE After fitment connect the diagnostic tool and clear fault codes, if any.
