ELECTRICAL 255 9. Outside Rear View Mirror – Fold operation 9.1 Description The ability to fold (park) a mirror is provided to allow effective reduction in the width of the vehicle and to reduce the risk of impact on pedestrians, passing by vehicles. The fold and unfold feature is available for both left and right mirrors. 8.2 Conditional Requirements Activation – The driver & the co-driver ORVM fold/unfold by switch shall operate only when the IGN is in  ON  ACC delay state ORVM fold/unfold work as: Electrical ( With ORVM fold/unfold switch):  Driver shall control the folding/unfolding of external side mirrors, by pressing fold/unfold switch.  The mirror fold/unfold switch is a combined switch with the mirror adjustment switch.  The mirror fold/unfold switch shall be non- latch able type .  The electric mirror fold/ unfold switch shall be interfaced to the BCM. Diagram 1: Mirror Switch (Non latchable) Automatic(with RKE Function/ With Mechanical key/IGN ‘ON’):  Driver doesn’t have to control the folding/unfolding operation of mirrors; it shall happen automatically based on vehicle lock/unlock command by RKE and based on the IGN ‘ON’ status. On Fault – BCM logs respective DTC.
