ELECTRICAL 253 8. User Customization settings 8.1 Description User customization feature allows adjusting some of the settings of the body electrical functions as per user convenience and interest. For this feature to be implemented, BCM communicates with the user interface ECU, i.e. infotainment Head unit (HU) over CAN. Settings will be stored in BCM. User customization features for this particular variant are mentioned below. Feature Settings Action Approach lamp ON time adjustment 30 sec 60 sec 90 sec BCM shall take the user setting and shall implement the same during approach lamps ON operation. DRL On OFF Enable Disable BCM shall take the user setting and shall implement the same during DRL on off operation. Factory Settings Restore factory settings BCM shall update its memory with default values for current use. 8.2 Conditional Requirements Activation – On every IGN ON after 500mSec, BCM shall publish all user customisation settings over CAN. BCM shall publish user customisation settings on CAN with below information. 1) Feature Enable/Disable. 2) All possible values of features. 3) Active value of each feature.
