HARRIER SERVICE MANUAL PART -1
ELECTRICAL 237 4.5 ACTIVE WAKE-UP CAPABILITY 4.5.1 Description BCM shall get wakeup by the below mentioned wakeup inputs signals (Inputs and Outputs section). BCM shall wakeup other ECU's with a hardwired wakeup signals based on the wake-up functional requirements. BCM shall not be required to wake-up other ECUs or woken up by other ECUs on CAN. Only hardwired wake up and LIN BUS wakeup shall be required. BCM shall get woken up with any of the below mentioned signal inputs: Drive Door State Co-Driver Door State Other Door State signal Rear RH door signal Rear LH door signal Tail gate signal Bonnet signal Driver Door Lock Signal Driver Door Unlock Signal Infotainment removal detection Brake switch signal Ignition KeyIN signal Position lamp switch signal Low Beam Switch Signal Main Beam Switch Signal Ignition key IGN signal Hazard switch signal Head lamp ON switch signal Ignition ACC signal Remote key signals (RF) LIN bus signals (if any) BCM Power Reset 4.5.2 Conditional Requirements BCM shall make hardware wakeup signal output ON and send the corresponding CAN and/or LIN signals when any of the wake-up input is received. If BCM detects the new wake-up input then it should activate the wake-up signal output again. Wake-up output signal pulse ON time (T ON) shall be 100 mSec. 4.5.3 Operating Voltage Range DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT VOLTAGE Active Wake-up Capability Normal operating voltage: 12V. Normal Operating Voltage Range For Hazard: 6.5V - 16V. Normal Operating Voltage Range For CAN & LIN Communication: 7V - 16V. Normal Operating Voltage Range For Other: 9V - 16V
