23 AIR BAGS SRS 4.2.5Clear Diagnostic Error Codes : The software clears the Error codes in the ECU memory. It also checks whether the Error codes are physically cleared or not. It they are not cleared physically the following message is displayed on the screen 4.2.7 Save : This will store the following data in the ECU VIN Number Vehicle Errors Error Clear Status Manufacturing Date time This stores the ECU data in CSV file format 4.2.8 Stop : This stops the communication between ECU and Tester. 5 Maintenance of Diagnostic Unit 5.1 Trouble shooting Problem Cause Remedy ECU Communication Error 1) LEDs Status on the Silicon Engines - Check the OBD cable connection with Diagnostic Connector of wiring harness. - Check the OBD cable connection with Multi protocol Interface module. - Check the ‘DSR’ and ‘DTR’ leds on Silicon Engines module . If both are Red re-initialise the unit 2) Com port connection - Check the com settings. - Connect RS232 cable to COM Port. Software Not Working Corrupt version of Software Reinstall the software .
