48 ELECTRICALS c. ‘ST’ contact ‘OFF’ - the supply to glow plugs is cut off but then ‘IG’ contact will be ‘ON’. In case second cranking is attempted without ‘IG’ going ‘OFF’, the glow plugs will again receive supply as long as starter contact is ‘ON’. To repeat steps a, b and c, ‘IG’ should be disconnected. d.
