ENGINE 111 Fig. 2 Fig. 3 Fig. 4 Fig. 1 VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY VACUUM PUMP 1 Remove air inlet and outlet connections from vacuum pump. 2 Remove cylinder head. 3 Crank engine till piston is at its outermost position. Remove cylinder sleeve. Fig. 1. 4 Remove piston pin circlip. Fig. 2. 5 Force out piston pin and remove piston. 6 Unscrew connecting rod cap bolts and carefully remove connecting rod and cap with bearing shells. Fig. 3. 7 Unscrew suction valve cap from cylinder head using adopter, 321 589 02 07. Fig. 4. Remove valve spring, valve disc and valve seat. 8 Unscrew delivery valve seat from cylinder head using adopter, 312 589 09 07. Fig. 5. Remove valve disc, valve spring and spring housing. 9 Clean all parts.
